  1. Last Cappuccino before the 101... love it! :)
They should put a sign in Paris that says, 'Last Starbucks until Lyon'

    1. How fun is that sign! It's been there for a while.

Yes, something like that would be useful in France!

  2. A restaurant called "LA POUBELLE"?! Good Lord!:) Talk about reverse psychology... or honest adverstising!;)

Never been to LA but love the pics:) Very reminiscent of the Golden Girls (although not in the same state;))

    1. La Poubelle!!!! Trop bon!!! I ate there a lot when I was living here and had no idea what the name meant!! The food is good, so yes, they are being LA ironic. The owners are French.

Loving your GG reference...LA is so 'Golden'.

  3. Great shot of the Hollywood sign. All the years I used to drive up there and I never once got a decent pic of that thing! God, I love CA! Living here is the only reason it doens't completely kill me that I don't live in Paris!

    1. I love LA! Shhhh don't tell New York!! This place is incredible. I miss LA dive bars on the East Side, Trader Joe's and warm winters.

      You're lucky to be here...enjoy!!!

    1. Thanks! I love SF too, such a magical place. I wish I could head up north before leaving but there's just not enough time or funds. Sad.

SF had a whole different vibe that I also find romantic.

  5. I love these photos. I love LA and the feel of the architecture, etc. We stayed at Chateau Marmont for a few nights on our honeymoon and the interior design was so old Hollywood. LOVE! Great photos. Paris misses you!

    1. Really?!?!? So cool! I've always been curious about the rooms. I've only been to the bar for drinks which is amaze in itself. I'm happy that the rooms reflect the old Hollywood style.

It's hard to get a reservation there, right?
